*Note: Savings are compared to comparable incandescent light bulb over the lifetime of the CFL light bulb at an average electricity rate of $.09/kwh and do not include the cost of either bulb. Your rates and your savings could be higher. Check your utility bill and compare. You may be surprised at what you are paying.

This shows a 13-watt Greenlite light bulb replacing its equivalent 60-watt regular bulb. Click on the play button to see the movie
So small they fit most fixtures. The 23-watt light bulb is slightly larger. See specs above.
INSTANT ON!
Watch a short movie showing how small the light bulbs are now and how they turn on instantly. These are not your father's fluorescent light bulbs!
(Note: You will notice what appears to be a brighter flash when the light bulb is turned on, but this is just caused by the delay in the camera lens adjusting to the brighter light.)

Give them some space. CFL bulbs can be used in any open fixture and in most enclosed fixtures as long as it is not totally recessed and enclosed, like a ceiling can with a cover over the bulb. These may create temperatures too high for the CFL bulbs and reduce their life.
